I am installing an ultrastart remotestarter/ alarm on a 2003 f350 powerstroke. the info i have is that i need to use a timer for the wait to start. any one with any info on how to do this? is it absolutely neccesary?the unit has a dedicated glow plug input.is that all i need. I really appreciate the help guys.

You can fing the wait to start wire at the glow plug relay pack under the hood on the pass. side firewall (looks like a little amplifier) has green plug on it. The wire you want is GREEN / WHITE its a posative signal while the plugs are warming.

thanks for that info, so i assume that after the plugs are warm, the pos 12v signal at this wire goes to 0v? thus letting the r/s unit know to start? thanks again kartuneman!
