I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 auto 4WD with a Cummins diesel. I'm trying to install a Viper 560XV.

The alarm appears to be working properly but not the remote start. Anyone know how to hook up the ignition and accessory wires?

From what I understand the 06 ignition switch is different than the 05.

Somewhat of a pain...............
If you are not familiar with Dodge, you may be money ahead to have it installed.
OMEGA has a ByPass that has the Second Start wire resistor built in:
IB-UCH2X - CHRYSLER 2nd Gen. Sentry Override w/2nd Start Activation

The big difference is when you hook up the wait to start you must set (accessory durring wait to start: On) factory default is off.
OTherwise you'll have some pretty idiot lights.
I'm not sure if the 560 has it, but the new dei 160's i've gotten have Wait to start timers built in. PRetty awesome...
set it for up to 1 minute of delay before starting.

Yes the 560 has the wait to start feature built in. That's one of the reasons I bought it.

This is new technology for DEI.....?      It's been a part of Asto for 5 years. They have deisels down pat. At least now you won't need that silly "pulse timer" another piece of equipment to find a place to hide....
