I have installed a Delta EZ-Start-25 in a 1998 Plymouth Neon. Everything is working fine except I can not figure out how to lock/unlock the doors. I have used the wiring diagram on this web site and it says:
Door Lock: ORANGE / Purple
Door Unlock: Pink/Purple
On the remote starter it is using a - output for lock and unlock. It also has +12v out, which I am not sure what that is used for. The wiring diagram can be found at: https://www.car-alarms.com/pdf/ezstart.pdf . If anyone has any useful hints, please let me know.
Also if anyone knows what wire and where it is located for the dome light, It would be helpful.
thanks in advance, Will..
This vehicle has reverse polarity door locks which require you to cut your doorlock wires and install two relays between them as follows. Have fun, these wires are a pain to get to since you have to get them coming into the car from the boot. I had to make all the connections with one hand and even tape them with one hand.

Thanks for the response. Do you have to take the door apart in order to tap the wires? I was trying to tap the wires that are located in the drivers kick panel.
Where did you find the wires? They must be coming into the car from the boot, not in the door, but just inside the car where they come from the boot. If the wires you have found are heavy gauge then those are not it. You need the thinner gauge wires coming from the boot. Look at where the boot enters the car between the door and the car then look under the dash and the wires should be coming in at that same point and the harness will head upward toward the roof. Look in that cluster for your wires. They will test positive, and when you cut one, the doors will not lock or unlock. Then follow the wire diagram. keep me posted.

Yes the wire harness looks like it does come in and go up like you explained. Would I just splice the (ORANGE / Purple or Pink/Purple) wire and one end goes to the relay (30), then the other end goes to the relay (87a)?
Yes, the side coming from the door needs to go 87a and the one going up goes to 30
