So I finally got a gm that I could try out the 457g. It was a 2006 Trailblazer. Couldn't find any info on it so pulled up an 05 checked all the wiring seemed the same. After reading and hearing some horror stories about the 457. I called up Dei , and they said the 457g would work. So I proceed with the install. Got everything wired up plugged the 457 in got it to program and everything. I must say went very smoothly. Much better than selling the customer a 456g for the locks and a 555l for passlock. On a side note the 457g will not reengage the factory alarm after the r/s shuts down unless you tie the factory alarm rearm to the lock input of the 457. I know may sound obvious, but I just want to put it out there.

The biggest issue i've seen with the 457G is on Trailblazers. At least 50% of the ones i do won't lock the back hatch after it unlocks.
