Does the 457gw disarm the factory alarm or no. I'm installing the viper 791 and for some reason the factory alarm will go off when the door is open. Another problem i'm having is that with the 457gw its not recgonizing the door triggers. The viper alarm won't go off but the factory will. Do i need to go into the door for any of this.

As far as I know you have to tie the gray/black of the 457 to the gray black trigger wire in the driver's side a pillar to get the door triggers to wor k properly.  Just let the person know that if they disable the dome light, the viper will not respond to the door triggers.

but for the factory alarm disarmit doesn't do anything. Is this a feature that is even built into the 457 or no. Also the door triggers is a feature but for some reason when i locked the viper remote the factory alarm armed but when i opened the door the factory alarm went off but not the viper. I know that the 457 has a door trigger wire. Does this wire only work on some vehicles. I'm giving the car a second shot tomarrow.

Not sure exactly i've used the 456 in the past only really dealt with the 457 once so far.  From what I was told though as far as the door trigger goes it would work the same way as the 456.  Taking the positive input from the gray/black and converting it to a neagtive for the after market alarm.  Are you waiting for a minute or 2 before opening the door.  And is the dome light override switch on?

I don't have the manual in front of me. From what i remember the 457gw had a green wire and it stated to connect this wire to the alarm (-) door trigger input. Isn't that all i should do. And do you rember if the factory alarm is disarmed from the 457 or is that not even a option on that bypass.

The factory alarm should be disarmed thru the 457.  As for the trigger for the doors.  You will have to hook the gray/black wire of the 457g up to the positive dome light wire in the truck otherwise the 457g won't generate a doortrigger for the alarm to read.
