I recently installed a RS on my sport trac. Everything works fine. but it only unlocks if the vehichle is started or has just been shut down. It will disarm and it show on the lcd to be unlocked but it will not unlock. If you start the vehicle it works everytime. And it works within about 2 minutes of shutting the engine off. Any help would be appreciated.

it is a 996a prestige alarm.

dk.GREEN/ purple is the disarm, if you do a "pulse before" on this wire it will wake up the BCM. The wire is in the drivers kick. NEG(-) trigger
