Installed a 1wam-as and everything seems to be working fine. The only problem I have is the "check engine" light came on and I cannot figure out why. I hooked up a scanner and no faults were found. Check all the wiring and everything looks good. Maybe someone here ran into this situation.

did u hook up all accessory and all ignition wires

Double check the igintion wires. If I remember right there are a couple dofferent wires there that are the same color that meter the same for the ignition. I think its blue. If you get the wrong one it will start and run fine, but the SES light will come on.

did you do wait to start?
if so. make sure your alarm has "accessory on durring wait to start"
heh.
did one of these a few days ago and had the same trouble. the only difference i saw was the accessory wasn't powered, did some research and found out that if it's not. you'll get check engine, abs and brake lights all on.
