Can anyone tell me how to reporgram the auto door locks on the Pontiac Vibe so they don't lock when you shift out of park and then unlock when you turn off the ignition? This is very annoying.

Set the interior lamp switch to the "Door" position.
Put the transmission in Park and close all doors and hatch.
Turn on the ignition.
Within 5 seconds push and hold the door lock switch for 5 seconds. The interior light will flash from one to 4 times indicating which mode it is in.
You want mode 2 (No automatic door locking or unlocking)
If the unit is now not in the correct mode after the dome light flashes, turn the ignition off and then back on and hold the power lock switch again for 5 seconds to move to the next mode. Repeat until you get to mode 2.

That worked great. Thanks so much for the info. I am now free from the annoyance of the locks locking and unlocking by themselves. Thanks again.
