I have a 96 accord lx and the driver's rear door lock actuator is bad.  So I was wondering can an aftermarket 2 wire door lock actuator be installed on the existing 3 wire harness from the car.  The 3 wires are lock, unlock, and gnd, while the aftermarket actuator will pull or push depending on the polarity.  Can it be hooked up or should I just bite the bullet and buy another honda door lock actuator.

thanks

I would replace it with a factory unit.....96, theres got to be plenty available in the bone yards (wouldn't ya think?)

Its a pretty simple fix too!
