Hello,I have a 2004 jeep liberty and need to program the 555c.I did not get any instructions in the box?It looks pretty simple,just a relay and a key chip.So the red wire would be constant power and the blue is my negative input from my remote starter but how do I program it.Any help is awesome.

You will need two working keys in order to program the 555c.

Steps are;

With the first working key turn the ignition on for 5 seconds or until the security light turns off.

Turn ignition off.

Turn ignition on with the second working key. Keep igntion on for at least 10 seconds till the security light illuminates and flashes. You may at this point also hear a chirp from the horn...maybe..

Turn ignition off.

Place the 555c chip close to the ignition barrell and power up the vehicles ignition with JUMPERS NOT A KEY. After a few seconds security light should light up and turn off. At this point the chip will be learned as a valid key and the vehicle should run after remote starting.

Second step should be taken with five seconds of the first, however after the second step I think you have up to 60 seconds to get it done.

Give it a go, it should work... I'm sure if I left something out, someone will comment.

2004----does it have remotes built into the key, or separate remotes?

If it has the remotes built into the key, the 555C is the wrong part; you would need a 556C or similar.

Also, read your Jeep owner's manual for instructions on programming a third key------with the 555C, you are doing nothing but "fooling" the car into "seeing" a key, by using the RS to power up the ignition, and holding the C near the keyhole.
