I have a 99 GMC suburban and I am trying to install an alarm with remote start. I have founs loads of information on this forum and it has been great however... Where do I find the ignition harness to wire it all up to. I have laid on my back in the drivers footwell and looked up and oh my god there are so many wires. Which is the ignision harness? Also anyone got any ideas on installing and bypass (555L) Thanks for all your help

from your post, i would suggest taking your truck to a pro, or studing your basics a little more.

I'm with gcorrea, from what your post sounded like I would get it done professionally, just my 2 cents

I have a 98 Expedition. And there's part of the dash that goes around the bottom of the steering wheel, at least that's how mine was. Just trying to give you an idea. I say the only way to learn is to try. Just be very careful of what you're doing. Then if it feels overwhelming to you seek professional installation.

Thanks Stonecole that's exactly what I thought. If I can change a transmission, re-build an engine, I'm sure I can attempt the alarm. As soon as I find it I'm on my way. Hope you have a great night, I'll remove it and tomorrow and see what I see

No problem. I just completed an install on my Expedition a 791xv viper. It was my first, finished yesterday finally. Have a good night.
