i  bought a 03 suburan and it came with a remote start i think it is a audio vox there is a 800 number on back of the transmitter. any way i called it they pissed me off because they hung up on me it wont start lock or unlock it dont make a sound nothing i unpluged it let it reset it self and still nothing. whats wrong!

1. Not really any way to know what's wrong with it without some troubleshooting. Does the LED on the remote light up when you press it?

2. What is the 800 number on the remote? Someone here can probably tell you for sure what brand the phone number belongs to. Audiovox is 1-800-225-6074 I think.

if you bought this vehicle recently and if the remote has never worked then they may have just put a remote with the vehicle whether it worked or not. first, if you can get to the alarm look and see if you can get a model number off of it (ie APS-something or AX-something). if you can get a model number then you can do some research and make sure that you have the right remote. if you have the right remote then you can download the manual to program the remote back into the system. hope that helps.
