Hello  my viper 300ESP started acting funky.  First the headlights stopped blinking when arming and unarming the car.  A few months later the chirp stopped but the locks are still locking with the fob and the panic alarm still goes off.  I don't think the car is even arming because I can now crank the car when it should be armed.  The armed LED is staying solid once I pull the key out of the ignition when it should be blinking once I arm the car.   When my fob battery started failing a few months back I just kept pushing the buttons to get the car unarmed and I hope I reconfigured it or something, any help really appreciated as I do not want to buy a new alarm.

Sounds like the unit is in valet mode, which disables the alarm functions but retains the keyless entry convenience functions. Off the top of my head, i believe you turn the key on, not to start, and hold down the program switch until siren chirps to take out of valet mode. either look in install manual or take back to original installer to fix.

Thanks!!! Although the lights still do not flash when arming and disarming, at least the alarm is not dead.  All seems to be working now except the lights.  Any suggestions for that!  Thanks again for the reply!!

Check your connection point to the lighting circuit. If you used a t-tap or similar then remove the tap and rewire it. It uses a fair amount of current and should have a good solid connection.
