I have a predator evo+4 car alarm with remote start and i need to connect it to the negative side of my ignition coil. My car has two map sensor dli coils instead of an ignition coil. Can someone help me on where to connect it to. The car is a toyota corolla levin J.D.M.

one more little thing. where is the best place to connect to the hazzard lights for my alarm. is it at the relay itself?

is there a sigle parking light wire on your alarm or two indicator/parking light wires.
you rarely tap into the hazzards. if its one wire use a relay or 6A1 diodes and split the wire to each turn signal on the light s side of the indicator relay..
i have diodes here if you require them

the alarm has a single wire for the indicators. i'm not an installer, just a d.i.y chap trying to install an alarm. i have basic electronics that i learned myself.

its a levin mike.
use a relay to split the connection to each side indicator
or use the diodes i have lots here i can give you some or post them to you if your not in dublin
you will get the connection on the lights side of the indicator relay.
not sure if its like the irish corolla if it is you can get both wires in the drivers kick panel can't remember the colours..
turn the indicators on to find indiactor relay.. you will be able to hear/feel it clicking

i got a couple of diodes in work today.i'm not sure if they are good enough, they read in4004. anotherquestion is about the connection to the alternator, is it just connect to it the same as any other +wire?

it tells me in the manual that i need the alt connection for the autostart/turbotimer (turbotimer is built in). will these diodes be o.k for my hookup to the indicators?

use 6 amp diodes the 4 will heat too much.
whats up with the alternator..
is it not a tach connection that you need. all remote starter should be connected to a tach wire that can be got at distributor or injectors..
what exactly does the manual say to connect to word for word

The 4004 diodes you have are only rated for 1A; here are some that are 6A-
6A diodes

the manual says that the RED / black wireshould be connected to the alternator and that it should have a voltage of 4.5v. i was talking to an installer today and he said that when you start the car this voltage should drop to 0v.

any alarm i've done needs a tach connection unless it has voltage sensing. the tach connectio can be got as discribed above..
contact louie in besecure 2000 he sells them alarms so he will know if its not standard tach
