Hey everyone. Got a quick question about viper alarm systems. I have a 5+ year old one in my car. I want to upgrade and get the Viper 5000 series. Since I already have an older Viper system, is it pretty much plug and play? Can I just swap out the old sensors and brain unit with the new ones? Any thoughts?

Hope everyone enjoys the superbowl! Thanks for your help!

wire colors shoul dbe very similar, i would just start all fresh installing the new alarm and using the old wires for reference.

The main connector on the 5000 is differant than all the older dei systems. I agree with infinkc.
