 I just installed a avital 4000 remote starter on this truck,it starts fine with the

remote but when i try it with the key it wont start. What did  i do wrong?

Well, did you hook up starter kill with the remote starter?  How did you hook up the starter kill relay?

The basic starter kill relay diagram shown below, breaks continuity of the lead from the ignition switch to the starter motor (or in some cases i.e.; Ford, to another relay), when the alarm is armed and the ignition is turned on.
