I have installed a Remote Start w/ Keyless in to a 1999 BMW 740IL, and the problem I have is the Transponder in the Key is not strong enough for the PASS 4 or 556U will not work.  I have moved Ring & Box every way possible.
If key is left in Ignition, it R/S every time.
Any help is appreciated.........

Did you have to put a key in a box then use a ring around the factory ring?

This is the part we call for: RS-TATA.IV

Key in a box with a ring.

Yes.... the Pass4 & the DEI Unit require a Key and a Ring around the Cylinder.

Car will start every time the Key is in the Ignition all the way.  I am wondering if it is the Key Sense????
Any color on the Key Sense wire?

Get some speaker wire ( a pair ) strip about 2 1/2 feet and twist it together and rap it around the transponder rec. make sure it goes around the rec not a light thing (if you have 1) around the IGN. Then use the plug that came with the BP and put the speaker wire in to the BP. Make sure you rap the Rec bout 5 times or more. Then test it.

If that dont work then get the TATA

This is the smartest, and most secure, (no intermittant problems) way to do it.

I have tried the Omega PASS-4, DEI 556U, and Relay with wrap around Key & Cylinder.....................NO Crank, NO Start
Can put Key in Ignition ( not all the way ), or near ring.........NO Crank, NO Start
Can put Key in Ignition ( All the Way till Warning chime comes on ).....Starts right Up
Does anyone think it is Key Sense??
