I have recently noticed that my parking lights are no longer flashing when I disarm and arm my alarm, however they do work when I turn on the 4 ways so I know it can't be the fuse.  Does anybody have any information that could help me out.  It isn't a real problem, but since I noticed it it annoys me.  Also I haven't go to look at it, but I can no longer start my car cuz I can't get into reservation mode.  I looked and the pager is giving me 5 flashed stating that the brake is on.  Could this be due to the cold weather and maybe my switch on the brake pedal is sticking.  Sorry I didn't actually get to look to see if that is the problem because it is late.  Just looking for some help.

Thanks

It sounds to me like there is a bad connection, or something. Id take it back to thee dealer that installed it and see what they think.

The park light output on the Compustar is GREEN / WHITE and it has a red 10 amp fuse on it. It's most likely blown.

Parking lights work.  I'll dig around and see if I can find that fuse.

The fuse didn't really even look like it was blown, but that was it.  Thanks

New problem.  It blew again, the problem is that I have my fog lights hooked to the same circuit and everytime I forget to turn them off, it blows.  Since I can't remember to turn them off, can I just put in a 15w fuse rather than the 10w or should I just remember to shut them off.

No don't put a bigger fuse in, you will most likely damage the Compustar control unit. You'll have to rewire the fog lights so they don't turn on with the Compustar... If you don't have remote start you could reqire the fog lights to turn on only with ignition or you could wire up a relay to break the connection to the fog lights when the alarm flashes the park lights.

Well origionally the fogs were tied in with the regular headlights, but they would shut off with the high beams and you couldn't run them with just parking lights so I hooked them onto the parking light curcuit so I could have then on when I wanted them.  I guess I will just have to put a note on the steering wheel so I remember to shut them off before arming the alarm.
