I can't seem to be able to program the key for the bypass. I have on of those uncut keys and am doing a remote start on an 05 pacifica. To my understanding, you put the first key in the ignition turn wait for light to go off. Put second key in the ignition, turn key wait for light to go off. Put uncut key in ignition and it all work is this correct or no.

When you put the unprogrammed key in you have to turn the ignition on. If your remote start has a diesel mode, temporarily put it on. Or you can ground the (-) wait to start wire. During programming when you insert the uncut key, hit the remote start button. Ignition will turn on, but it won't try to crank. light should flash on the dash. After about 15 seconds the light should go solid. The key is now programmed.

Well there is no light in the cluster what i'm basing it on is the security light. I wait the fifteen seconds and nothing happens. Should i be hold the two programmed keys in for longer.

Turn the first key on for 5 seconds then turn the second key on for 10-15 seconds ( you will hear a chime) then turn the unprogrammed key on until you hear another chime.

Yeah...that works too.

Above I described a way to do it with an uncut key.

You probably aren't waiting long enough on key 2....you will here a ding sound after about 15 seconds.

You're gonna love this..... Chrysler has a recall out on the wma module that allows manual programming of new rfid keys. Nothing is wrong with the functionality of the unit......until you try to program a key to it and it won't let you. If you are confident that you have done the programming correctly, take it to the dealer and have them warranty this module. I have had to take 2 durangos and a pacifica to the dealer just to be able to complete my install. Hope this helped....

The process for programming with uncut key goes:

Insert 1st valid ignition key and turn to on position (not start) wait 4 sec until red dot theft light goes out and remove.

Insert 2nd valid ignition key and turn to on position and wait theft light/ chime ( about 8-10 sec.) then take out.

Theft light will start to blink after chime to confirm entering program mode

insert key blank in ignition, power up ignition 1 and 2 wires with jumper, wait 15 sec until chime again

if this does not work take to dealer per previous post.
