I got everything hooked up. Works great, however, when I remote start with my factory keyless remote, my remote stops working. Won't turn off remote start or activate the door locks. I am pretty sure it has to do with the bcm going into sleep mode or something, but I can't find any info on this. Can someone help?

nothing to do with the bcm your cars keyless wont work with the car running with the key either before the RS there is nothing that i know of that will fix your problem as the keyless is part of the bcm and you cant interupt the ignition to the bcm or will have issues

So there is no way to have remote start on this car, and be able to get in with the keyless entry?

You will probably need to use a R/S with keyless built into it.

I really want to retain my factory keyless and alarm. There must be some way to trick the bcm into thinking the car is not running. My keyless still works with the key in run or acc, and even when I try to start but don't allow the engine to actually start, which tells me the bcm is not disabling the keyless when detecting the start command. Something is actually telling the bcm that the engine is running. I just need to install a relay to interrupt this signal when the remote start module is energized.
