Help!.  Just bought a factory keyless system for my 2002 Dodge RAM 1500 4x4 quadcab that includes the 16 pin module with a new xmitter.  My problem is that I cannot find the plug for the module!.  I'd read somewhere that the plug should be somewhere on  the driver's side kick  panel\emergency brake area  but short of taking the whole truck apart, I still can't find the plug!.  Can someone tell me where is this 16 pin plug?.   Thanks!!

Try looking way up high in the driver's kick panel area above the brake for a loose molex plug.

Ooops!  Is a 6 pin plug not a 16 pin plug.  Thank you, Jeff!.  But I still can't find the darn thing!.

The module plugs into the back of the instrument panel.  After you install it you will have to take it to the dealer and have it hooked up to the DRB tester to program it.  Again the plug is behind the main cluster.  Very easy to install but it will have to be programmed with the tester.

I guess that I might have to remove the cluster since it is impossible to reach it from underneath.  Lot of work and it's too cold out there!.  Hopefully I don't need to take it to the dealer.  Too costly!.  Will continue tomorrow.
