I've got an '03 neon with power nothing. I'm installing my own power lock actuators and switch. The switch is wired into the - side of the pair of actuators controlling the locks.

How should I wire the system to pulse the negative lock and unlock wires when the car starts up or shuts down.

i.e. when i turn the ignition, the doors lock. when I kill the ignition, the doors unlock.

Just a pulse though - of course I don't want constant power to the actuators.

I did some searching and couldn't find a solution.

Thanks

pac tr7 will also work, but i would just get a low dollar keyless system like mo12v said and make life easier by not using a key in the door locks

There are companies that sell auto locking/unlocking units, I have worked with one that offers a programmable VSS switch to lock the doors at X mph and unlock them when the ignition is turned off.
