i took replaced the battery on a remote for my aftermarket alarm

and now the alarm wont respond to the remote

the alarm system is an alarm and immobiliser in one so now i cant drive my car either

please help if u may know a solution

by the way, the actual alarm unit has been untouched and was working perfectly.

i have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the batteries but that still did not work

Does you remote have a light on it??Check and see if you installed the battery correctly.If so,you may have lost your programing in the remote.You'll need to enter the alarm programming mode and reprogram your remote..

the light on the remote does work and does flash. and how do i enter the alarm programming mode and reprogram my remote?
