I have an Automate 410.  The remotes stopped working.  I reprogrammed them according to the manuals instructions.  I still get nothing.  The doors still lock and unlock with the ignition, but thats it.  Whats the problem???

Sounds like it's in valet mode. Try to go through the programming and get it out of valet and post your results.

i don't think it's in valet mode if the remotes do not work at all, he did say they lock/unlock with ignition only, so that says the unit is atleast somewhat working. My guess is the remotes may have become out of tune, batteries are dead or maybe your not doing the procedure correctly. DEI can be confusing for first timers, especially if the horn honk is not connected.

If the LED is installed, whats it's status? Always on? (=valet mode) or just off and/or flashing?

you can go to www.directed.com to find a DEI dealer near you, and see if they can try a different remote. If that dosen't work, it may be a faulty reciever.
