i install a prestige remote starter on a 2004 chev. venture everythign works fine  but the security light stays on  when you             start the van with the remote starter

try this

Alarm Disarm ORANGE / BLACK (-) IN DRIVER'S KICKPANEL
   ON SOME MINIVANS FACTORY ALARM WILL DISARM WITH UNLOCK. TO DISARM FACTORY ALARM ONLY PULSE UNLOCK WIRE FOR 0.8 SECONDS.
