Before I get to the details I want to inform you.I DO have the wire diagram and I DID search.

Ok.I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.I wish to install a Viper 791XV with a 520T (battery back-up), 455TW (Jeep interface), and one or two 513T's (piezo sirens).I do wish to do the remote start.

With the interface, what's the worse that could go wrong?I am not exactly "new" to electronics but I do not want to screw my vehicle up.I have all the tools required for the job.

The interface basically copies the chip in the key..You only need it if you have a chipped key..

Ummm, I don't feel like using 100000000 relays and 5 wires per door when I could just buy a $50 part.

mrcllusb was referring to a transponder key interface, which wasn't an option on that year Gr. Cherokee.

Its really hard to screw up the 455T. Connect a few wires to the alarm...tap into 2 wires in the car and it works. Worst that could happen? You could burn your car to the ground.

I will be doing the remote start too, but that's only a couple extra wires.

Right now I'm just working on the sound system install, next month will come the alarm :P
