can all bmw and mercedez benz cars use actuators..are actuators the easiest way out of door lock problems encountyered with car alarm installation

What is the problem ? Using actuators is sometimes a solution, but if you have 4 doors to do, it's not an economical solution.

ALot of older european cars used vacuum lock system. the easiest way to solve this was to go right to the pump itself.this solves alot of problems of testing for these types fo systems that could lead to problems or damage.The ones i've done are usually in the back, under the rear seats.or near the so called security modules.

i have a 2004 honda civic i installed a remote start car alarm but the doors wont open or lock with the remote.the car already has keyless entry what can i do..do i have to wire a relay and if so how do i wire one does any one have any diagrams.....the car have negative door locks and the car alarm have negative lock and unlock outputs...what is the problem why isnt it working

No need to go to pump itself there is a wire in the drivers door that needs to be interupted to lock and connected to unlock you'll have to use 2 relays most DEI alarms have detailed instructions on this, like Viper, Hornet etc

hey giys thanks alot i found the problem.i disconnected the keyless entry wires and it worked
