If i'm correct,a bypass module should solve your problem. It's purpose would be to disarm the factory alarm and allow the remote starter to start without any conflict..

i was hoping for a simple wire disconnect or a relay installation because i already quoted the installation and dont want to purchase a bypass and yes the alarm triggers everytime the car starts with the doors locked. thanks for the reply.

If i'm correct,on the volkswagon, the factory alarm disarms thru unlock,so you'll need a bypass for the factory alarm..

This is one of those cars that you need to unlock, then start, then lock after starting......this is how you do it!

OR BLACK/ purple on the security module, blue plug. you need to "break" this wire with a relay. Use your ground while running to trigger the relay.

This will disarm without unlocking....

that sounds like an easy fix by using a relay, i  will go with that. thanks very much for the info.
