I installed a compustar 900fm-as on a 04 intrepid, I used relays and resistors for the locks, and diode isolated all the door trigger wires. Everything works fine except when you arm the car, 30 seconds later the alarm goes off, and on the remote it shows the door is open, when you press button 1 once to stop the siren, the car remains armed but is fine after that, can sit the whole night without going off once. just wondering what it can be, any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Try relay isolating the door trigger wires instead of just diode isolating.Go to this link and use the first diagram.

The domelight wire is yellow, in a plug just below the fuses, coming from the fusebox....always worked fine for me.

Thanks Jeff, I'll be ordering your cd's very soon. I'll keep the domelight in mind as a backup.
