I have a Silencer keyless entry alarm in my 98' Toyota Rav4.  My original remote is FCC# ELVMT5A.  I was told by the dealer that they are now using the ELVMT1A in its place.  I bought one on ebay and was wondering if anybody knew if this was true. Thanks in advance for your help.

From my experience they are the same, but just incase I have an account with them and can give them a call about it.

I got the ELVMT1A to work last hight. If anybody need the programming instruction let me know.  I'm a happy camper now.  Thanks,  Dan
