Hey guys,

Having trouble finding the Tach wire on this 03' F250 Diesel...According to Directech it says Green w/ White Stripe on white taped 5wire harness...but in the 5 wire harness there is no green w/ white wire. Also I was told a white w/ pink wire under the hood...but again no tach. So..wonder if someone could help me out a lil bit..thx alot guys..

The DIESEL TACH wire is a GREEN / WHITE wire, located in a 5-pin harness held up with tape behind the parking brake release.
For WAIT TO START LIGHT, do not use the wire in the vehicle, use the 5,10,15 or 20 Second PROGRAMMABLE Wait To Start Timmer on the Remote Starter

T-Gen Tachometer Generator (u can buy one of them ) work good.for your diesel.

  • Creates a tachometer signal when there is none to be found on a vehicle
  • Mounts under dashboard near alternator
  • Useful in some diesel applications
