Has anyone installed a remote start in one of these? I looked at a couple of wiring diagrams(for the car) and neither say how to do the starter, 2nd ignition, or the doorlocks. I did a search but didn't come back with anything but a wiring diagram.

The 2006 Impala/Monte Carlo has an entirely new electrical system, and is unlike the 2000-2005 model.

Must use a PLXR type bypass and wire as an Ion type system. You can still access most of the wires at the BCM.

Thanks. I'm looking to do an aftermarket h.u. in it also but I'll post that in the audio section.

I'm thinking it'll be pretty similar to the 06 Malibu. PK3+, etc etc.
Should be the same vehicle platform as the Malibu....
