2000 silverado 530t problem

just finished installing a 791xv in my 2000 silverado and I'm having problems with the 530t module.

i've got the wires hooked up like so:

heavy gauge:
blue to D Side dk blue at motor (in D Side door)
green to D Side brown at motor (in D Side door)
blue/black to P Side dk blue at motor (in P Side door)
GREEN/ black to P Side brown at motor (in P Side door)
violet, violet/black, and black all grounded in one spot.
red to 12V constant

light gauge:
white to brown of D Side switch
brown to dk blue of D Side switch
WHITE/ black to tan of P Side switch (in D Side door)
BROWN / black to lt blue of P Side switch (in D Side door)
RED / white to RED / white (-) validity channel of alarm
orange to orange (-) ground when armed of alarm
grey not hooked up

I've tried the different settings and can't get the windows to move AT ALL, and the 20A fuse keeps blowing instantly with the door switch. I'm sure I need to do the resistor mod, but I figured they'd at least move a little bit. Does my wiring sound right?

LF Window up/dn blue - brown  A  driver door switch   
RF Window up/dn blue - brown  A  passenger door switch   

 make sure yoy hook up the wires right. and try changing your 2 channel output (RED / white) to another channel. that should do the trick to atleast get them to go up.

i think i might know what's wrong. instead of cutting the motor wires i just tapped into them.
