Using a Prestige APS997 alarm. I've found all 3 of the door triggers for the vehicle in the BCM. Each wire has it's own diode. For some reason when opening the any of the doors the alarm does not trigger. Perhaps I used the wrong diode?

The diodes may be backwards. You should install them with the white band on the diode on the side closest to the BCM. Band points towards the BCM.

I'll definitely check on that. I'm wondering also if there is a specific diode I should be using.

Thanks for the info sparkie. Switched the diodes around and the doors are working.
