I am a roofer and i work with a generator going down a 30 foot ladder to start my gen set is a real pain ,it is a 6000 watt yamaha with electric start ,auto choke,auto idle, it has a starter and ignition switch,has anyone an idea how to make this work, im getting to old for going up and down ,and if i send a helper they disapear for half an hour .I dont know if this can be done

Yeah can be done as long as its 12 v I've done it before.

Yes, it can be very easily done. We've done a couple welders in the back of trucks for some of the rig guys. The main thing is making sure the brain and antenna are good and waterproof (something as simple as an 8x8 scepter outdoor enclosure).
