Does this pickup have Passlock 2 or 3??

Someone mentioned it may even have a Transponder system??

Not sure and Owners Manual doesn't say.

4-Door 5.3L 4x4 (No On-star)

I am installing a Remote Start and need to know which bypass to purchase.

If your doing keyless as well, then get the GMDL-BP for this truck. Saves you buying another door module later and is easier to install just one module oppose to two.

If your GM product has the transponder system it will have the letters PK3 stamped on the key.Which is short for Pass Key 3.If this is not stamped on it then it is a Pass Lock 2.
