I will be putting these two together at work tomorrow, and I am wondering how it can be done

Can someone please tell me how to wire this combination up

Check to see if the compustar has a positive multiplex input. If it does than hook up the blue and green wires from the DEI sensor to the multi plex wire then hook up red to 12v and black to ground on the sensor as well and you are good to go.

I understand what you said, but is there maybe another way of saying (positive multiplex input)

What it is is a wire that will trigger a warn away chirp with a short signal, say less than .8seconds and then trigger full alarm if its pulsed with a signal longer than .8 seconds. Thats multiplex in this sense. I would think that there is something on there. If not you could check and see if there are seperate triggers, one for warn away and one for full alarm. It might also be called progressive trigger, although those are usually used to refer to door triggers where when pulsed with a signal it will do warn away chirps for 3-5 seconds then full alarm. That way it gives you a warning to disarm the alarm before it goes into full shhh disturbing mode.

looking at the install manual...the cn-7 pin 3 is a posative first shock input, they also list a cn-8 "optional sensor" I'll bet thats it! sorry Im no help what soever, Im new to compustar.... Ill keep readingposted_image
