hey everyone everything is hooked up as per astro. Am I missing something in the programing or is the brain fubar'd or what?

You're missing " explaining the problem you are having "

If you have Factory Keyless & you wired the Astro to the Locks, it would be NEGATIVE Pulse.
Sometimes you need Relays for a stronger NEGATIVE Pulse.

If it did NOT have Factory Keyless, then you need to wire it 5 Wire Reversal

thanks for the help. as it turns out the truck oringinally came with keyless, that would have been nice to know from the start...
