I have just finished putting a viper 5000 2-way on a 2004 Mustang. Every thing went smoothly except that every 32 minutes the alarm is triggered and nothing is being sent to the remote (i.e. door trigger, shock sensor etc.) I am wondering if this is being caused by some sort of sleep mode in the vehicle. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you use diodes on the door triggers? This is more than likely the problem.

yes you have to get the door trigger wires sperately, or yes the GEM module falls asleep which will trigger the alarm
