I apologize in advance because I know this is one of those topics that keeps coming up...

I bought a used car and the previous owner had a Clifford Concept 40 hooked up, but had also had it unhooked.  I had another thread about hooking it back up, it just turned out it was missing power so I now have it working.  However, the previous owner also doesn't remember his valet code.

I have heard that there is no way to find out or reset the code but maybe I was hoping somebody knows something specific for the Concept 40? The previous owner now lives in Taiwan and I bought the car 500 miles from here so taking it back to the original shop is out of the question.

Any help or a definate "no way" would be very much appreciated.

Nate

You can try using the factory code of 2.  Maybe it was never changed.  If it was changed and you don't know it the only way to reset it was to send it back to cliford.   Dei used to reset them too.  You would have to get in touch with them.  Maybe they will tell you how to do it if it can be done through the switch because I doubt they want to be bothered with reseting them anymore.   Bottom line you have to get in touch with them.  Good luck
