Is there any way I can get my factory remotes to work with my remote start engaged. I installed a single button remote start, but now I have to use the key to open the doors because the factory remotes don't work when the ignition is on.

To my knowledge there is no way to use the factory remotes while the ignition is energized. I believe this is how the vehicle is built from the factory, with no way to change this option.

If anyone knows of a way, I would love to know it!

I have done this on several vehicles other than a 2001 Accord. If you can find the ignition lead of the factory keyless entry, open it with a relay energized by the sensor bypass output from the remote start.

ive tried this in the past on the 98+ hondas/acuras and have no luck. ive tried on a 98 accord, 05 tsx, and 01 cl with no luck. like the admin said, you can find that ign feed but ive looked at some service manual and it seems like some honda's factory alarm are built into the Multiplex system, usually locate w/in the fuse box.

so theres no way around it. And thats best to my knowledge but it doesnt conclude anything.
