Can anyone tell me if there's a tach wire available on a 92 Dodge Ram diesel pickup? I couldn't find a wire anywhere that tests, and it's not working right with voltage sense.

im not sure of the color....i think its white behind the cluster

BLACK/ grey or grey/black

drivers side of underhood close to fender and firewall

tach wire on diesel trucks is gray/lt. blue in pin 43 or gray/black in pin 24 at the PCM on the drivers fender.

Thanks for the replies. Gray/black did the trick; it only tested about .25 VAC and didn't vary with rev, but the system learned it and it worked fine.
