Hello,

I am installing a new alarm to my nissan sunny 1992.

My installation technique is to install little by little and test each wire connection as i go. Slow but methodical so if something does not work then i wil know it immediatey.

Basically i completed the installation of my new AGILON alarm and tested it and it all worked until i tried to programme it via the valet switch and instructed in teh manual.  What happens now is

LED remains on/lit constantly.

the kill relay/switch does not work when armed, car can be started using key.

Turbo timer works but remote started no longer works.

the alarms fails to trigger when any door is opened.

I tried to reset the alarm to the factory settings via the valet swtich but alas no joy.

Admittidly this was a cheap alam but i had a look at the circuit board and all looks fine.

Is there any way to find out what is wrong with the alarm. any clues or leads you can give would be most aprreciatated.

many thanks

Apollo

If LED is ON.......Be sure it is NOT in Valet Mode

Dumb question: What is a Nissan Sunny?  Is it s nickname for a specific model?

Sorry about the dumb question, but I saw this post and that threw me off.

Nissan Sunny is available in Europe, not U.S.
