I finished the install on an 06 mustang GT.
The only problem I have is when I unlock/disarm it chirps 4 times and the hammer and door icons flash even thought the alarm was not tripped.

The alarm will sound if I open the door while armed, so I know that is connected correct. (- signal to green wire)
Even after I clear the icons (set/unlock) it still does it.

Whats wrong here?

.

Turning the ignition on does not clear it?

sound s like a shock sensor problem. unplug the shock sensor and arm the system, see if it still does it

on these mustangs you have to get the door trigger wires seperatly at each door boot,

because of the delayed domelight  I am guessing that is why the door icon is flashing on the remote

If it is the domelight supervision sensor being tripped at the time of arming the system due to the delayed domelight issue, set the door trigger supervision to be delayed for about 45 secs or whatever the option is.

some alarms don't have this feature, but I am not sure about this one

Have you tried clearing the LCD

- set,set, lock
or
- set lock

try that..

you can't do it like that, the only way to fix this problem is to do what I said a few posts back

I have the same car and I went through the same problem

set -unlock is not the *clear*. That's to turn on the drivers paging (you'll get a long beep). Page 5 of the manual.

try set-set-lock or set-lock or set-set-set

like I said clearing the LCD will do nothing, you have to get each door trigger wire seperatly cause the GEM module falls asleep and triggers the aftermarket alarm
