Can an auto start alarm system be easly installed into a 2006 H3 that has a manual transmission? If so what bypasses and so forth are needed? Right now the vehicle has a Autopage RF-520LCD. Which it came with from the dealership. Was looking at going with an Autopage RS-860LCD. Thanks for any help and advice, Steve

I am not familiar with the Autopage units, but if it does not support manual transmissions then I recommend NOT using it. There are plenty of manufacturers that offer M/T compatible units. The H3 is a GM product, so it uses Passlock for security. You will need to bypass this during the remote start, I would recommend buying a resistance learning bypass (like the DEI 556L or the GMBP from Omega). The wiring diagram for your truck can be found here.

Do NOT ruin your life, your truck, or someone elses....by "finding a way" to bypass the clutch, and running someone over. Get a unit specifically designed for a manual trans. Compustar, Astroflex, or AST.
