I have a Phython 881xp and for some strange reason I can't valet my car using the valet switch. I can do it from the remote but not the switch. Can it be that the brain of the alarm is messed up, and if so how do I tell? Also I recently changed my battery to an Optima Yellow Top, I don't know if that has anything to do with it? I am very puzzled. Can anyone help me out?

Not trying to offend, but let's make sure you are operating the unit correctly. You must turn the ignition on then off, then press the valet switch. I have had ALOT of people forget this and try enter valet mode with the ignition on.
