Hi, I'm a rookie when it comes to car alarms,  I currently have a viper 790xv. I want to have remote power windows for summer time. Is there a module that will just plug into my alarm. I understand that my alarm has various channels available.I would like to do it myself since i am mechanic and i have a small electrical background. Any ideas where to order one sheap as well.

you can use a 530t to control 2 windows up and down.  The module does not just plug in the alarm though.

Just installed a 530t in my Honda.  Pretty tricky getting the wires to run through the door to the center console where the alarm module is.

If you need a wiring guide that will tell you what wires control up/down functions reply with your email address, car year, make and model.

And dont forget to test these wires with a multimeter prior to cutting. Some wiring diagrams could be wrong.

Also, i bought my 530t on ebay.

Remember that you will not have any type of warranty if you attempt to install this. I recommend having a dei authorized shop do the work.

However, depending on your vehicle it may not be difficult. Took me 2 hours.

Hope this helps
