Hello,

I have a 97 Honda Civic H/B and am planning to install an Omega Alarm system into my car but I have an old silencer brand kill start that has no documentation and one remote thats pretty beat up.

Its kill start wires that hook into the silencer brain are two plain black wires that I assume are hooked directly to the starter solenoid wire.

How Can I test which wire does what? How do I disable/uninstall the Silencer? And lastly can I use those two black wires to connect my Omega Killstart instead.

Thanks For all your help

all you need to do is to disconnest the two black wires from the old system. try to start the vehicle,if it wont start that is the solinoid wire.  To hook this up on your Omega alarm, use a relay, put he black wires on the N C contact(pins 87a and 30) Now put your orange starter kill wire on one side of the coil.(pin 86) then tie a fused 12 volt constant wire to pin 85 at the coil.  That should get you hooked up.  Good luck.
