I am planning on adding an "add-on" alarm system to my factory keyless entry on my 2005 Toyota Tundra Doublecab. I have found the Hornet 700t or 727t to be the best options. I have one question on the functionality. I understand that it senses the lock and unlock triggered by the keyless remotes to arm and disarm the system. What happens when the alarm is disarmed and the lock button on the armrest is pushed? Doesn't the alarm sense that signal and arm the system? Also, does anyone have the wiring diagrams for my truck? Thanks!

Before purchasing an add-on unit, are you aware the factory remote won't work once the truck is remote started? Go out to your truck, start it up by key and try hitting the buttons on the remote. It probably won't work. I recommend a stand-alone system.

I am not sure I understand your comment. I am not planning on using a remote start system. I am simply planning on using an "add-on" alarm for my factory keyless entry system...which does not have any theft-deterrent alarm functions.

you will tire into the door lock switchs so you cant arm/disarm while pushuing lock. depending on the range of your factory it wont be as good at an aftermarket.

the install manual is in the downlaod section it tell ya about what i mention above
