use purple which is negative trigger at the light switch

and you have to use the green wire from the alarm brain

i need help hooked up ca-670 code alarm in 1996 chevy k-1500,hooked door trigger wire(green) to purple wire at headlamp switch,if i set alarm in middle of nite, hours later alarm goes off,2-way remote shows divers door tiggered.but other than this door locks work, remote start works.also dome supervision is piggybacked on this hook up.

if it has factory keyless entry try using the black wire at the keyless entry module, (it is negative trigger)

if it doesn't have factory keyless try using white at the pin switch or the courtesy light, (this is negative trigger also)
